K1: This is 911 emergency! Can I help you? uh huh, your address please? OK, get out of the house, the fire department is on the way!! *thundering up the stairs* WOO-WOO-WOO-WOO-WOO!!!!! *thundering down the stairs* THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IS ON THE WAY!!!!! (envision K1 pushing fire truck around at an alarming rate of speed considering K2 is directly in his path.....)
In true fireman style, Keeg has now become a jack of all trades. He dispatches, he responds to the call, and (with a little encouragement) he cleans up after! The only thing he needs to work on his remembering his 'inside voice.' I'm sure 15 years from now he may know what I'm talking about, but he probably still won't do it.
My little K2 (as he has been dubbed by Uncle Jayme) is going from a sweet content little baby, to a sweet but trouble-causing little mover. Zach and I have decided that we got a climber. HELP! In the last 3 days, he has climbed under a chair, but over the rungs of the chair (almost getting stuck), climbed into a laundry basket and sat in it looking immensely proud of himself, climbed through the step stool and got stuck, climbed over anything I try to use to block off the fireplace, pulled himself up on the dishwasher, tried to climb the stairs (thankfully so far, he hasn't made it past the first step). This evening, before his bath, he climbed onto Keeg's step stool in the bathroom and pulled himself up on the toilet. Yummy. And this is only the beginning, I know. Oooh, boy.
To recap the last few days, we had our Easter egg hunt on Saturday morning! Keeg was SO excited, and Kayden, he could have cared less. The boys both got some darn cute attire, which they donned for church on Sunday. I love the outfits! Keegan had fun finding all the eggs, and then was able to enjoy some time with Daddy. Zach built him a fire station out of lincoln logs (thanks Aunt Jess) and it was a BIG hit. Zach was quite proud of it, that's an engineer for ya! He will want me to point out that the roof had no supporting beams that went all the way across - the roof was held up by a perfect balance of counterweight! Be sure to leave your congratulations for him ;-) After church, we packed up and headed down to my parents. Their kitchen remodel is going great, and almost finished!! It looks so beautiful, I can't wait to see the finished product! We had fun hanging out with them, even if it ended a little sooner than expected; the K's and I were going to hang around for a couple days, but it didn't work out!
The latest and greatest news though is that Jayme and Virginia are expecting!!!!! HURRAY!!!! I am WAY excited for them, and can't wait for this little addition! Congrats guys!

Seriously, I say this all the time but your boys are sooooo CUTE!! I especially love the potty pictures of Keegan!
I like that last shot of Kayden. Not only is he not interested, he looks downright mean or bored or something! I can only imagine the trouble he will cause here. Thank goodness the controls to the new dishwasher are out of sight, out of mind!
LOVE the Easter outfits. Especailly the over sweaters with the half zip...very GQ.
Their new Easter clothes are adorable! (I love little guys in ties!) and I just wanted to say congrats on the lincoln log construction! hehe! you guys are a fun family!
Okay, okay, I finally checked your blog out. It's awesome. But just for the record, I thought I came up with the nickname K2. I think Zach can back me up on this one. Maybe Jayme and I can be co-authors or something. Tell the Keegster I have a little souvenir that I'm going to send him from my spring break trip.
