Welcome to our reality show
This little man is 5 1/2 months. He weighs 19+lbs. That is more than both his older brothers weighed at a year.
He eats cereal. A LOT of cereal. You know those IKEA kid bowls? He will eat a FULL IKEA-bowl of cereal .
He also blows raspberries. The noisy-spitting-cover-my-face-and-shirt-in-drool kind.
He struggles with naps; he usually only takes one quality nap a day. The other is a 30-minute cat nap. But he sleeps great at night (now that he is no longer sick!). We're working on improving the nap situation.
He is obsessed with his tongue. You can always tell when he is ultra-happy, because he's usually smiling with his tongue sticking out. It's adorable and I love it. I have high hopes that he will be the next in the extended G* family to be able to touch his tongue to his nose.
He's gorgeous. Chubby everywhere. The kind of chub that makes it physically impossible to not smooch on......
We love you Cutie-Kyler!
Today Keegan lost his first tooth! It was so exciting. Keegan says he is really proud of me, because I pulled it out with dental floss. (Many thanks to Kristen M* who gave me the idea and the courage to try!) It was definitely ready, it popped out with no trouble at all! I wasn't wild about doing it, pulling teeth was not in my job description, I prefer to leave that all up to Daddy! But it had to be done, and Daddy was at school.
Keegan would like to request that you leave the tooth behind instead of taking it. Uncle Jace, the family dentist (graduating in less than a month), has asked for the privilege of examining it if you don't need it. We would like to thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Keegan would also like to remind you, that even though you may not be taking his tooth, you are welcome to leave any gift, monetary or otherwise, as you feel so inclined.
Thank you,
Mommy and Keegan
