We've been missing, I know. But don't worry. We're fine.

It was sunny.

2 Months

2 months already? What happened? I feel like I just had you, Kyler, and here it is already February - the first month of the new year is over! Time goes way too fast for me to keep up with anything.

For your 2 month birthday, we celebrated by going to the doctor! Poor little man, they stuck a few needles in your legs for vaccinations. Must be some kind of benefit to having chunky legs, because you didn't cry near as much as your brothers did when they got their first shots!

Official stats:
14 lbs, 4 oz (95%)
23 3/4 inches (80%)
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could hardly believe it. 14 lbs?! That is a new record for me, considering your brothers weighed that much at about 5-6 months. Also, I have never had a baby actually be on the growth charts, much less anywhere near the upper percentiles! You go, Bubba Jay!

Kyler, you are the sweetest baby. You smile so much at your brothers, Daddy, and me. We love it! I love to hear you talk and make little giggles. Keegan adores you still, and is always so sad when I say he can't hug or kiss you because you are sleeping or eating. That boy would smother you with kisses if I let him! But I can't blame him, I feel the same way.

Kayden loves you tons as well. He is going to be your protector I think. A friend made a comment about taking you home with her and Kayden practically growled at her and yelled "NO! That MY bubba!!!!! My bubba, my house!" I thought he was going to take her down right then and there! He still loves to offer you chocolate milk whenever he has his - maybe someday I'll actually let you have some! It'll be a while though..... The cutest thing to me though, is how he says your name. Kayden has finally started talking, and is incredibly easy to understand most of the time! He says your name "Guy-la" and it makes me smile every time I hear it.

You sleep amazingly well. THANK YOU! I can count on one hand the nights I have had to get up more than once with you, and most of those nights were in the hospital. You have a good habit of sleeping from 10:30 or 11 at night until 6 in the morning, eating, and then going back to sleep while I get your brothers ready (Daddy leaves for school at 7am, so we are on our own in the mornings). At quarter to 8, I bundle you up and we all walk Keegan to school. The teachers at school love to peek in and see how big you are getting, and Keegan loves to show you off to anyone who will stop long enough to let him. Our days then consistent of lots of eating. I feel like I'm always feeding someone - you most of all, but Kayden is always asking for "Nack? Nack, Mama?"

I love you and your chunky rolls. I love to give you kisses (we all do) and lots of snuggling. You are such a lovey, cuddly boy, and I hope you stay that way for a long time. Daddy and I were discussing how spoiled you are - you get held SO much. We decided that it is mostly out of necessity - we are trying to keep you alive! The floor is a dangerous place with two older brothers who love to run around, wrestle, race cars, and conduct general mayhem. The bonus is, I can hold you all the time and feel justified in doing so!

We love you Kyler!!!!!!!

It's Not a Tumor

But it is a really big goose egg. Again. This is the result of two boys who weren't listening and being obedient. For Kayden, church ended with a bang yesterday. And I found out that our church has lots of first aid kits, but not a single one of them had a instant cold pack in them!
