YEAH! This week has been awesome. Busy, but definitely awesome. My birthday was on Wednesday, and it was great. Keegan and Zach made me pancakes for breakfast, and both Keegan and Kayden were REALLY good. Amazing how they did it on the right day, isn't it? Our good friends, the Mason's, watched Keegan in the evening and Zach took me (Kayden tagged along) to Red Lobster for dinner. YUMMMMM. It was sooooooo good. For those of you who don't know, taking me to Red Lobster is a big sacrifice for Zach - he HATES seafood. He can hardly stand the fishy smell, so being in a restaurant that is full of the smell was very gracious of him. I found it TOTALLY delicious, and ate my fill of fabulous seafood. Oh it was so yummy, my mouth is watering now just remembering it! Zach also got me an ice cream cake from Coldstone, and it was fabulous too! My birthday present from Zach and the boys was a beautiful clock. Unfortunately for Zach, Keegan has a lot of trouble keeping secrets lately. He used to be pretty good at it, but he seems to have forgotten the concept of a SECRET. The boys had purchased the clock last week, and Keegan told me on Saturday that "There is a big clock for you downstairs!" Zach was pretty bummed that he spilled the beans. But I still love the clock, it is gorgeous!
Thursday the K's and I went to the pumpkin patch with some friends. It was awesome! I was worried, because the forecast was for pouring rain and howling winds, but we were blessed! No rain, only a little breeze, and lots of beautiful pumpkins to choose from! It's a really cool pumpkin patch, you get to ride a little train out to the pumpkins, and then after you pick the one you want, you get a little paddle boat ride back. Keegan loved it last year, and he still loved it this year too! Kayden just zonked out in the carrier. I took a great self portrait of the two of us! Keegan took his time and walked to the furthest corner to find his perfect pumpkin, and it is really perfect! I was impressed, he picked it out all by himself! We are going to carve pumpkins tonight, and I will get some pictures up after that.
Friday was spectacular. Man, I am running out of adjectives for this week! OUR TABLE CAME!!! We have been saving up for the past few years to get a new table. Our former table, as handy and helpful as it has been for Zach and I, has become too small for our little family. It is one of those tables that you can't fit your plates AND your food on. And we broke some chairs (apparently they aren't meant for standing on), so we only had 3 chairs. And when you sat on one, you could hear the wood cracking. So, sorry Norma, but your old table is now my sewing table!! But we loved it for the years we had it as our dinner table! We decided it was time to say so long - we looked around at a bunch of stores, and decided on one I found at jcpenny.com. WE LOVE IT! It came Friday morning, and so we spent most of the day putting together the chairs. Fastening on the legs and whatnot. It's beautiful! So come on over any time, we have a place for you to sit and eat!!

I love reading your blog! You and your boys are so cute. I hope you had a great birthday!
I am so glad that you had a great birthday week! I can't wait to see your table, clock and new paint all together. I am bummed that we missed the pumpkin patch. My kids are still asking when we are going to go. I hope we can make it at all. Anyway, I'm glad you've had a happy week!
