This last weekend, Zach and I took our last (and only) chance to go waterskiing! Well, I didn't go waterskiing, but I would have if I hadn't had a baby just a short while ago. I wish I could have! Oh well. We came down to my parents house and took the boat out to Fern Ridge Reservoir outside of Eugene OR. It was awesome! Keegan had fun riding on the boat. He was a little nervous at first, but with Grandma and I holding his hands, he ended up having a good time and even put his feet in the water. Zach and my dad got out on the surfboard, and Zach did some slalom skiing. My dad grew up surfing on the east coast, and loves it still, so he likes to surf behind the boat since it is usually all he has time for.
Also, we got a flat tire! Yippee. Thank heavens it happened now, instead of while we are on our way to Idaho. Yes, this week is THE week. We are moving to a townhouse on Wednesday and driving to Idaho on Thursday. Yes, we are insane. Thanks for asking. We went to church with my family and arrived back at the farm. When I got out of the car I thought I heard a stranged hissing sound.... Somewhere along the way, we hit something that poked a fabulous hole in our left front tire and I could put my hand over it and feel the air coming out. It was blowing pretty good too, so about 20 minutes after we got home our tire was flatter than flat. SUPER. My drive back home will be delayed tomorrow until I can get our tire fixed. Did I mention I haven't started packing anything at our apartment yet?
Well, the next time you hear from us, we will probably be in Idaho and Zach will be a marathon-ER, not just someone who ran a marathon. Cross your fingers and say your prayers that we get moved into our townhouse with everything in one piece - and I don't mean just our furniture.
