Sorry for the serious lack of posts. We've had a busy few weeks, and I just haven't found time to sit at the computer for more than a few seconds. Most of the time, the computer I've sat at hasn't even been mine, and so I haven't been able to put on any pictures. Here I am at my Mom's laptop, and I have commandeered it - I uploaded some of my pictures on it so I can finally post something!
We said goodbye to my brother Josh - who is now Elder Glasmann, currently 'doing time' in the MTC in Provo, UT. They had a bit of an adventure dropping him off, apparently there was a pretty bad flu outbreak within the MTC and to avoid spreading it to family and friends of new missionaries, they would not allow any families in. My parents dropped him off in the parking lot, gave him a hug, and turned him over to the senior missionary couples who were signing in all the newbies! Keegan totally loves Josh and looks up to him a ton - lately, his desire to be a "fireman ROCKSTAR" has increased. Can you guess why??
I'm excited for Keegan to witness Josh's mission. He has a good example in my brother to be honest, loving, and have a strong testimony of the gospel. Keegan has started drawing me pictures "so that I won't miss him too much when he is on his mission." He also wrote me a little letter with his own defition of what he though missionaries were. It said "Missionarys: 2 people sent by God to teach other people." It was so sweet - I am totally saving it.
While visiting for Josh's farewell, the boys spent a little time on Uncle Jayme's Wii. MarioKart is so much fun......
While back home at our house for a few days, we found a huge worm in the backyard! The boys were fascinated with it and stayed out in the backyard to watch it for about 15 minutes.
The latest with us finds us back down at Grandma and Grandpa's. Grandpa is traveling across Utah, Montana, and Idaho with the Clay Mineralogy Society and Daddy is up in Seattle at a sleep conference (sounds like fun, doesn't it?). Both Grandma and I felt that we would be so lonely without our hubbies that it would be better to be together. The boys and I came down here to hang out and keep Grandma on her toes!! We also tackled something I've been waiting to do for a LONG time - potty training Kayden!! He is doing amazing so far, he was definitely ready. It's only day 3 and he has only had 1 accident each day. He stays dry at nap times and even stayed dry overnight last night. That shocked me, and I think it was just a fluke, but I was happy either way! I think he likes the independence that it brings - he is such an independent kid, I thought it would be a struggle to do this, but it ended up being great. So far anyway :-) I'm sure we will have good and bad days, but at least our house is mostly diaper free (night time is the only diaper time for Kayden) for about six months!
I'm sure I'll have some more posts coming - this weekend brings Keegan's 5th birthday, and then the next two weeks bring Kayden's 2nd birthday and our anniversary. Whew....this month is busy.

Have fun potty training! We're doing it now, too. I would LOVE to have a few months with no diapers!!!
Oh my gosh! I love the Fireman Rockstar!! haha...I totally remember when my little brothers started going through the stage where they would combine their adult aspirations.
"I'm going to be a cowboy-astronaut-fisherman"
It's actually kinda sad, like they are about to slowly realize that might just have to choose.
haha, until then, here is to the cutest fireman-rockstar-geologist!
Love seeing pics of your cute boys! Way to go Kayden on the potty training! Happy birthday to Keegan and Kayden coming up and happy anniversary!! Busy busy busy!! Love you guys and miss you!
I can hardly believe how old they look. I know it probably makes you sad to see them growing so big, but it is amazing how big they are. WOW! I'm way excited to see you guys in the fall. It has been forever since we have been close enough to touch. =)
