Last week I was skimming through the conference Ensign and saw the talk from Elder Eyring where he talks about remembering our blessings. He said that we need to be recording our blessings in our journals so that we and our children can look back and remember the fabulous things our Lord blesses us with. This blog is the closest I've ever come to keeping a regular journal, and so I am resolving to start a "blessings" post, hopefully weekly, so that I will be more mindful of the numerous blessings in my life!
FRIENDS & FAMILY: With the turmoil of this last week and scrambling to find a new place to live (which is still in the works, I will let you know as soon as we know anything), I have been overwhelmed at how LUCKY we are. I love every one of you! So many have offered to help watch the kids while we house hunt, help Zach pack up while I am playing in Idaho, found places for us to check out, and so much more. I have been almost in tears at how blessed we are with the friends and family we have. Do you see why we don't want to leave this ward?
TEMPLE VISITS: With some babysitting from my sister, Jessie, and friend, Megan, Zach and I were able to attend the temple Saturday evening. What a sweet relief that was. We had two glorious hours to step away from our worries and stress, where we sat and basked in the calm and quiet of the beautiful Portland temple. I love the temple.
VACATION I can't wait to go to the beach. Especially after all this, I am looking forward even more to having all day to spend with my husband and kids, just relaxing and enjoying each others company!! I know it won't all be fun and games, but I still am so glad to be having this time away! Now if only I knew what I would be coming home too..........

I know you guys will be blessed to have everything work out. It's amazing to see in our lives how in control our Heavenly Father is. However, being human, the stress is still there. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. We love you guys.
It is all beginning to work out. Besides now has more uses for that new utility trailer he just bought. Who knew that all my kids would move withing 2 months of each other? Party time is about to begin!!

This is a good idea. My friend does a Thankful Thursday post. I love that picture of the temple.
My blessing is having such a dedicated blogger friend. You are always the first to leave a comment on my blog and before I read the comment, I always know it's from you. Thanks for always checking up on us. We love you and hope you find a place soon.

Way to think positively through a stressful time! I'm sorry that happened. But I'm sure you'll find a place and everything will work out! I'll be waiting to hear any news!
