The Mighty Chukars

Here is a quick recap of the past few days:
Many thanks to Melaleuca and my brother-in-law/cousin Loren, for the free tickets to the Idaho Falls Chukars game. Don't ask me what a Chukar is.....I've been told it's some kind of bird, but who knows what mascots these Idahoans have. We attended the game against the Ogden Raptors with the whole Beattie clan (minus my sweet Zach, who is home in Oregon, living the hard life). It was great fun! Keegan was really into it, cheering "hit it, hit it!" and always asking what had happened when the crowd would cheer. Unfortunately, we didn't stay to the end, my Ks were in serious need of their beds. But it was so fun to be there all together!
Prior to the game, we went to the Idaho Falls firefighters picnic with Bwana and Sugar Mama. Keegan was in awe of the concentration of firefighters in one place! He was worried that he wouldn't be allowed to go since he wasn't a real fireman, but I reassured him that they let those who wanted to be firemen come too! Kayden had a blast all the way around. He is loving having Sugar Mama's house to destroy, and is making quick work of it.
The wedding was a huge success, Tim and Kelsey were sealed in the Rexburg LDS temple, which is just so beautiful! We had lots of fun at the reception that evening. The boys and I are missing Zach terribly, and after a month away from home, I am really ready to get back. We are having tons of fun here, but I have been gone TOO long - I want to go home!

Kayden fell on the deck and scraped his head on the railing...ouch.

Here he is at the picnic - notice his coordinating attire!

The clan at the game - thanks again Loren! Nice to have family with connections....

Classic Porter. You gotta love this kid.

Hammin' it up for the camera. Baby blues don't get any better.

All the kids wanted to sit by Uncle Jace. We know who the coolest is.

Josh, the oldest Beattie boy, and Krista, the other awesome sister-in-law!

Seriously. Porter is just too cute. Don't you love his grin?

Poor Zach, don't worry, we will have lots of fun and make it up for him when we come. I love Keegan's hat!! Okay, so the Jungle Gym song came on and it will forever remind me of Oregon. Especially being pregnant because it was always on when I looked on your blog while being prego. Oh, the good times. When it came on, it literally gave me that nostalgic feeling.

Oh my gosh... are you guys all wearing sweaters???? It's already that cold there? We're still in the 90's with tons of humidity! Crazy Idaho!

Looks like you guys had a ton of fun! Sometimes I'm so jealous that you guys are so close to a ton of family. We really miss Shane's side (my side isn't nearly as cool)

miss you miss you. Need a pic of Jace for Angie. She's up here right now. Oh, and your sis in law looks like you. Crazy. Beatties must have the same taste in their women. Blonde and hot!
